GOOD BYE GLEN:

GOOD BYE GLEN:
It is with great sadness I heard of
The passing of Glen Campbell, one of music's greats.
He will be sadly missed ,
I can quite categorically state.

His long career brought pleasure
To millions throughout the land.
But he's left behind a legacy of songs,
That for future generations will withstand.

I think my favourite must be "Show A Little Kindness",
The words I can so relate to.
To act upon these words,
As life's journey you go through.

I have many of his songs,
Collected over the years.
Good bye to you dear Glen.
You brought happiness and cheer.

  7. Hi Yvonne. I took some time off from blogging and electronic media and missed Glen's passing! He was one of my favorite performers too. My favorite of his is also Wichita Lineman. I'd just been laid off from the phone company when it first came out, so it felt like my song. I'd worked with a lot of linemen over the phone, assigning cables pairs for new service hook-ups.
